Computer Science in Action

At Medora Jr./Sr. High School, students are developing strong computer science, engineering, and problem-solving skills through Project Lead The Way (PLTW). Through hands-on projects, students collaborate to design, prototype, test, and code innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Students apply computational thinking while exploring programming, cybersecurity, automation, and engineering design concepts. From coding devices and developing sensor-based systems to troubleshooting programs and presenting solutions, PLTW courses encourage students to think critically, communicate effectively, and become creators of technology rather than just consumers of it.

These experiences are helping prepare Medora students for future careers in high-demand STEM and technology fields.
